Crafted trellis and planters combine beautifully with classic metalwork* to bring out the very best in this London courtyard design.
We know that bespoke joinery works well in courtyard or basement gardens and this recent project in South West London shows exactly why.
The client wanted an attractive, relaxing space in what is a low lying, enclosed area that is overlooked by other properties. In this instance the classic trellis made from Iroko hardwood, provides significant screening and privacy so that the garden can be enjoyed in peace; but also adds an attractive, natural and elegant feature as a base for climbers to grow from hidden planters beneath.
In this scheme the planters on the ledge beneath the trellis, and the tree planters are in fact metal clad in bespoke designed,hand-made decorative painted panels, to create a very special look. Each panel is made from Tricoya, a highly durable and sustainable wood composite, The planter panels have then been painted in a bespoke colour in our specialist paint shop to provide a consistent high quality finish to the scheme.
