Painted garden joinery

For a long lasting, durable finish

Our ready-made timber products are freshly painted to order and available in a range of 11 paint colours as well as natural timber options.

If you have ever tried painting a fence or trellis in situ, you will know why so many garden designers and landscapers choose our painting service.

We use a special paint system applied in our purpose built spray booths. All painted products are treated with a special exterior undercoat followed by a coat of the chosen paint colour, and then carefully dried in temperature controlled drying rooms, the best possible conditions to ensure the most attractive and durable finish.

The finish of the painted products is opaque (not translucent) and has a soft sheen. Sometimes the texture of the timber can be seen, depending on the nuances of the natural product.

Our step by step process of our professional painting service

Step 1

Firstly, the front face of the products is given a light sand to clean up the timber and help deal with any small imperfections. This process is carried out by hand and allows us to carefully check each product while also providing a key to the surface for better adhesion of the priming coat.

Step 2

The products are then primed to seal the wood.

Step 3

The primed panels are then put into the drying room for between 24 – 48 hours before the top coat is applied.

Step 4

The panels are then given two layers of top coat in your choice of colour.

Step 5

The painted panels are then put into our temperature and humidity-monitored drying room and left to dry for a minimum of 48 hours.
