Our Company is the leading manufacturer of bespoke garden joinery in the UK. Based in Clacton-on-Sea for over 25 years The Garden Trellis Company is renowned for quality and service. We are looking to recruit capable individuals to assist in our workshop and deliveries.

Delivery Driver

Full time, permanent delivery driver required for immediate start.

Duties include delivery of trellis, fence panels and garden joinery products to London and UK destinations. Occasional overnight stays will be required. Other duties will include picking and packing products and loading vans.

Full clean driving licence required. Experience of driving in London would be advantageous.

Workshop Assistant

Full time, permanent workshop assistant required for immediate start.

Duties will include:  

• Picking and packing products
• Loading and unloading of vans, and receiving deliveries
• Maintaining stock levels of products in the packing department
• Assisting with deliveries of products to customers
• Assisting in keeping the workshop, garage and yard environment in a clean and tidy state
• Be available to assist in all departments as required

Person specification:

• Good secondary education including English and Maths
• Ability to work as a team or use your own initiative with minimal supervision
• Flexibility, as overtime working will be required

Experience of working with timber products would be an advantage. Full clean driving licence is required. 

Paint Sprayer

Full time, permanent paint sprayer to work in our spray painting department required for immediate start.  

Duties will include:

• Picking items for the paint shop
• Sanding & filling products for spraying
• Spraying products
• Assisting the Paint Shop Supervisor 
• Assisting in the other workshops if necessary

Person specification:

• Good secondary education including English and Maths
• Flexible
• Ability to work as a team or use your own initiative with minimal supervision

The following would be an advantage for this role:

• Painting & decorating experience
• Previous paint spraying experience
